Cotton Incorporated Is Making News

Whether via ABC or Fox News, the Cary, N.C., promotion group Cotton Incorporated is intent on getting its message of cotton out to the public. Recognized as one of the most effective promotion groups, Cotton Incorporated is turning up on morning news and talk shows across the country.

Morning viewers in Tennessee were recently treated to a segment on recycling old blue jeans into home insulation on the program Good Morning Memphis on Fox News 13. In New Orleans Cotton Incorporated representative Andrea Samber did a similar segment on WDSU News Channel 6 with an added twist: Cotton Incorporated was donating some of the treated and recycled cotton insulation to Habitat for Humanity projects in the city.

Half a country away on Pix Morning News in New York City viewers were treated to a Back to School segment with Cotton Incorporated's Lauren Deatherage showing off the latest denim and cotton fashions for both boys and girls.

Cotton Incorporated recently made use of a TV feature called National Agriculture Report to help get cotton's environmental story out. A number of CI experts, including president and CEO J. Berrye Worsham, informed viewers about cotton's economic importance as an agricultural commodity and also how cotton has continuously reduced its environmental footprint over the years.
